The Problem
Traditional, proprietary phone systems lock you in. Once you buy a particular vendor's system - you're stuck buying hardware and support exclusively from that vendor. Sure, you can pick your reseller and maybe find some (questionable) cheap equipment on the internet, but ultimately, you have to come back to THAT pbx vendor for help. Even those systems that CLAIM to support newer technologies like VOIP still have extensive vendor lock-in and prevent you from shopping around for hardware.
The Solution
Enter TRUE IP telephony, using TRUE, OPEN standards for voice and video.
Now, YOU pick your hardware, YOU pick your vendors and if you aren't satisfied, there are others right behind them waiting to have your business.
At Salter & Camp, we believe the BEST fit for your telephony puzzle is this open, standards-based system. We've seen WAY too many vendor lock-in horror stories. Its time for something different.

One question we are asked frequently - Does moving to a VoIP system mean we have to give up our traditional phone lines and use some sort of INTERNET phone service? The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. While it IS POSSIBLE and often times VERY BENEFICIAL to use a VoIP provider for your inbound and outbound telephone calls, it is BY NO MEANS required. We will take your current setup into account when we perform our assessment and discuss both options with you. Many of our customers stay on their existing phone lines and use a VoIP phone system for its MANY other benefits.
